Darius begins the Rock Chick Series as a drug overlord. He's depicted as having a with a good heart, but anger and bad choices turned him down a dark path. In Rock Chick Renegade, he and his Aunt Shirleen give up the drug dealing and get hired by Lee Nightingale.
Kristen Ashley has indicated that a future book might see Darius with his romantic HEA, although not in the Rock Chick Series.

Backstory[]
He was a wild child, but in his late teens his father was murdered and he became angry. Leon, his uncle, was a ran a drug enterprise and guided Darius to that life. When Leon died, Darius and his aunt took over the enterprise. Throughout, he maintains his friendships with his childhood best friends and does what he can to help them, even though they are on the other side of the law.
